Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS): Provides cost share assistance for conservation practices on farmland and forested areas.
Cost share programs include the Environmental Quality Incentives Program and Conservation Stewardship Program.
The NRCS Conservation Choices Guide provides info on common conservation practices.


 Ohio State University Extension: Soil health assessment and management information from university researchers.


 Central State University Extension: Organizes field days and workshops on growing produce and improving soil health in both urban and rural settings. Provides classes for beginner farmers on growing crops and business skills.


 Illinois Sustainable Ag Partnership: Soil health webinars and informational material, including info on carbon market opportunities. Checkout the soil health information listed under the Resources tab.


 Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association: Ohio Soil Health Initiative information and webinars on the economics of cover crops.

Clark County and Greene County Soil and Water Conservation Districts: Provides technical, educational, and financial assistance to landowners interested in promoting and enhancing natural resources. NRCS District Conservationists work within the Soil and Water District Offices.
