Tecumseh Land Trust helps landowners preserve farmland, natural areas, water, and historic sites and promotes natural resource conservation.

Tecumseh Land Trust was founded in 1990 by the citizens of Yellow Springs and Miami Township. We are a nonprofit conservation organization serving Ohio’s Greene and Clark county, as well as surrounding areas.

We conserve rich, fertile agricultural land, protect the viability of agriculture (Ohio's #1 industry), and maintain a diverse environment by protecting natural habitat for plants and wildlife. We ensure that future generations have fresh, clean water sources and encourage a functioning local food economy. Also, we preserve historical structures and sites as part of the rural and urban landscape, educate new stewards of the land, and save natural and agricultural land for the benefit of future generations.
